These are issues that will follow you in general and keep you behind from the person you would want and deserve to be.

How about go and consult a professional psychologist about ways to come to terms with your personality and with the way you spend yourself to others? 

I mean hiding our emotions/thoughts and being in constant fear of possible rejection must be a hell to live in. 

When its time for you to self analyze the situation you face and say that you need no more of it, then i would suggest to work things out with a professional.

So you can ''reprogram'' yourself, and cleanse yourself from fears, doubts, unhappy thoughts about yourself, and your value. 

It might going to be long, and it might going to be hard but internal serenity is the most underrated and valuable thing in this world.
