Alozalia
So to start off, I personally have done full face Botox and currently have two vials of dermal lip fillers and one vial of cheek filler on each side in. I plan on getting a nose job in a year or two when I have the time and money for it, I was wondering if anyone here has gotten any facial plastic surgery and could share their experience with it? People in my family have gotten boob jobs but that’s not really helpful. I’m just curious about face things more specifically, and if anyone has questions about fillers I’d be happy to answer as well
Guest Aastyra
I had a rhinoplasty a few years ago to fix a deviated septum. Of course, the procedure was corrective rather than cosmetic, but the fundamentals are pretty much the same. They put you under anaesthesia, and the operation should take around 30-45 minutes. Recovery time is about a month, during which you'll have a splint in each nostril and a bandage over your whole nose. You'll have to get used to being a bit of a mouthbreather during that time... After that you'll see your surgeon for a follow-up, and they'll remove the splints. The removal is some of the most acute pain I've ever felt in my life (my eyes rolled into the back of my head), but it only lasts like three seconds, thankfully. Over the next week or so you'll notice some caked blood and that sort of thing still being expelled. But after that you're all good. The only other thing to keep in mind is to avoid getting hit in the face for basically the rest of your life. If you get punched in the nose, you're fucked because the surgery will have made the cartilage more fragile than the average person's.
LucyDolly
May I ask what the advantage of using Botox is when you are still so young as your age? (21) I always thought Botox is just for removing wrinkles. By the way, i had a very good nose job about 3 years ago and I'm very pleased with the results and I would totally do it again. It was an intense surgery in my case because i needed a lot of bone work to be done to make my nose feminine and pretty.

(21) I always thought Botox is just for removing wrinkles. I'm 20 and was personally recommended botox for my chronic jaw pain! Haven't tried it yet though as my insurance won't cover and I'm a broke baby To explain... The thought is my pain is caused by my jaw clenching too much in everyday life and when I grind my teeth while sleeping. As botox is a paralytic, it'll relax the facial muscles and hopefully train them out of clenching so hard and eliminate that pain!

Hi Hi I get it to help give my face more shape, my face is naturally round and has no definition, so i get it to help give me stronger cheekbones, and lip fillers just give me a fuller pout, I want those Angelina Jolie lips ya know?

I grind my teeth when I sleep also and because of that my dentist prescribed plastic mouth guards which are molds of my teeth that I wear to bed. This won't help your jaw pain probably but you may want to consider mouth guards to avoid wearing down your teeth. I could already tell mine were going to gradually be destroyed and I'm only

KayleeAdams
Thnx for starting this thread. Personally, I can't decide whether to pick a proper plastic surgery to fix everything at once or play with botox?

There are jaw exercises and stretches that help, also meditation. I take deep breaths and visualize cherry blossom petals being drawn into .y jaw and maxillary muscles and deep exhale i visualize like angry red dots being taken out of those areas and out .
