How many rain drops in a rain?

9,999,999, coincidentally the same number as tears left to go according to Dickey Lee

Scientists tell us water boils at  99.97 °C (211.95 °F) under standard pressure at sea level, but at 93.4 °C (200.1 °F) at 1,905 metres (6,250 ft) altitude. Are we sure their thermometers weren't just out of calibration and therefore we have been deceived all our lives ?

I mean, we're all in on the joke, aren't we? Everyone knows that water doesn't boil, but that the combination of water and heat eventually creates surtr-hydrol. And surtr-hydrol has differing characteristics based on ambient pressure levels, thus needing more heat to make it function as we'd expect at the higher altitude you mentioned. Incidentally, this is also why we have yet to explore so much of the deeper parts of earth's seas - there's just too much surtr-hydrol at those depths ;) We only say that water boils because some marketing team decided it would be a great way to advertise the drink boilo by doing the "water to wine" thing except make it "water to boilo" by "boiling" the water in an ad, and it became a meme.

Speaking of memes, what rhymes with orange?

Because Halloween decorations are a huge market. Its slow work so they gotta do it though the whole year to have enough for sale. The flies that visit are there to negotiate good deals, thats why it looks like they aint even moving.

When a dragon shoots fire, where does the fire come from?

Posted

You're gonna make me ruin the magic aren't you ? I mean literally ruin the magic. Alright if you must know. Anyone not wanting the magic spoiled stop reading. Dragons are large and easily spotted and sadly were beginning to be compared to regular lizards as they were seen sunning on boulders. Nothing too intimidating about a lizard on a rock if you ask me. So they needed a way to evoke fear back into humans and decided the best way to do that was through some amazing display that could not be explained or comprehended by the human mind. They thought and searched and finally came across the Pyro Mini Fireshooter. A small device that can be hidden away and lets you shoot fireballs. They would tuck the device in between their front teeth and use the remote to send bursts of fire to scare the humans when needed. They also found a way to modify this device making it more powerful by belching as they pressed the ignite button. As you can imagine the gas from a dragons gut is quite potent. And so the fire breathing beasts of legend were born and live on till this day.

Why is a cat's fur softer than a dog's ?

It depends on the cat, really. But most of the time, cats are very vain creatures who want to look and feel their absolute best. So in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep, kitties make a trip to the cat spa! A cat can get the finest of fur treatments there. They also offer claw sharpening services, massages, and complimentary catnip cocktails! The only reason why I know this is cause my cat told me! Ask your cat and maybe they'll tell you... don't be surprised if they ignore you though! 😹

Sadly, dogs aren't allowed at the cat spa unless they have a special invitation by a fellow cat. So most dogs don't know about the wonderful treatments available for their fur.

In every piece of wire there are billions of tiny furry critters that run back and forth rubbing against each other. That static charge then flows to the receptacles and gives us what we know as electricity. They get to rest until they sense we need power so they have a pretty chill life.

Why do marshmallows taste so much better toasted than plain ?

Posted

Marshmallows taste better toasted because marshmallow have a secret ingredient that comes through when warmed up. The ingredient is highly addicting. So the marshmallow company came up with this knowing they would make billions off of them.

Obviously, because the International Brotherhood of Magical Workers (IBMW) agreed upon this number as a way to ensure their worker's rights and ensure fair treatment.

What makes stars glow at night?

This is very ancient wisdom. Long ago, when people were just forming civilizations in the ancient world, there lived very wise men and women who had ancient wisdom. They were the ones who led Civilization to grow quickly in our world. Eventually humans developed to the point where they were able to leave the planet Earth in search of new places to share their wisdom. The stars are the lights from the other Civilizations spread across the cosmos shining to remind us we are all connected and that we will one day be reunited to share all the wonderful things we have learned!

Grass used to be white but one day. a gnome kicked a can of green paint. He thought he was going to get yelled at. But instead his boss praised him and all the gnomes decided grass will be green. The humans and animals thought it was so pretty they never complained.
