dairy free/ dairy alternatives little foods

Hey everyone! :)

I'm lactose intolerant and I was looking at the supermarkets for any kids food to keep my tummy full while watching cartoons or colouring, something like the squeez drinks (I tried those and I really don't like them) and I realised that there's no many dairy free options.

Does anyone have any advice or have actually found anything? Thanks!

I love juice boxes. Fruit snacks and there is a brand called ENJOY that makes dairy free snackies.

Juice boxes are very good I agree! And yoghurts too.

But I'll try and search that brand you mentioned.  Thank you so much!   :)

I order chocolate soy milk from the brand Silk. You can get it in a shelf stable version that comes in in a carton like a juice box in a pack. They also make vanilla soy milk the same way, super yummy.

Thanks for the idea.

I know Alpro makes them too because I've bought them before but I'll have a look into those as well.

Apple slices with peanut butter with cinnamon are my go to! They're simple and you don't have to go out of your way to avoid dairy because there isn't any! :3

Most health food stores or the "natural" section of chain stores have some kind of non-dairy chocolate milk boxes! Depending on where you are/where you shop, I'd recommend looking for vegan snacks (they'll def be dairy free), and there are some good ones out there (I can't remember the brand but there's a vegan caramel popcorn that's super yummy!). Rice krispie squares/cereal bars are also pretty easy to make dairy free (just replace the butter with a dairy-free version or coconut oil).

Toasted sunflower bread with peanut butter cut into fingers, cashew yogurt with berries and honey mixed into a smoothie. Veggie sticks and hummus. Make your cookies with apple sauce instead of butter. Try watching downshiftology she does a lot of dairy free snacks and meals.

Amy's is a good brand for frozen foods/meals with lots of dairy and gluten free options. Luna bars are kinda like a granola bar...the lemon one only has lemons almonds and cashews as the ingredients. They are super lemony almost like lemon meringue pie. But they have lots with chocolate chips in them. Apple slices with peanut butter, raisens and banana slices are yummy too. The Evol foods are not bad. Oh and the squeeze applesauce pouches has lots of flavors and those are yummy too. Edited by Feeria
