it hurts..

idk why i keep doing this to myself but every time i go on a social media app like tik tok and scroll on a ddlg hashtag or littlespace one i see so many people hating on our communities and telling us to die, seek help, or that we’re all pedophiles or disgusting. i know it’s not true but no matter how many times i see people do this it still really hurts and makes me feel like i shouldn’t be pursuing this when in reality i make sure to keep myself safe, comfortable, and am literally repulsed by the idea of actual kids and am no way attracted to them (how every adult should be). it just sucks cause i love seeing other littles like me when i’m scrolling through the hashtags then every once in awhile i see people telling me i should die.. makes me realize just how much others don’t understand age play or age regression at all. another thing that hurt was that recently my best friends and i were taking the bdsm test and they shared their scores then proceeded to kink shame for age play and other kinks. after they talked about how repulsed they were by certain kinks i just knew i couldn’t share my scores or ever open up to them about how much age play and age regression means to me. sorry this was kind of just a long rant but there’s nobody i can vent to :(

I am sorry you had to see that..whenever i feel like doing something which i know will hurt me..i try to do something else instead..sometimes it works sometimes it wont..like we cant change the mindset of those people..but you can avoid going on social media or search these hash tags..instead whenever you feel like searching the hash tags..you visit this website..you will find acceptance here..!! Here people will understand!! (I am new to this forum, but luckily I had positive experience till now..no one has shamed me and everyone has encouraged me!!)

That's what we need in life!! Let those people with close mindedness go to hell!!

It's sad that some people can not stop minding others' business. Therefore, it's best to avoid reading or ignore such comments. You being an adult, choices you make is only your and no one else's business.

As long as what you choose is legal and makes you feel happy and proud, continue and enjoy!
You may want to start by fully accepting, taking care of yourself and being proud of yourself just as you're.
Hope it helps.

not every space on the internet is going to be a safe or positive one, especially for more niche groups or people with mental health conditions. my best advice is ignore those toxic spaces, they’re not serving you, and participate in the ones that are

That's exactly why I tend to avoid looking at DD/lg stuff outside of DD/lg friendly sites like this one. The negativity and hate is definitely enough after a while to make me start questioning myself and interest in this lifestyle. I guess there's always going to be someone out there who hates what other people are doing even if it is entirely harmless.
