Let's write a bedtime story

Okay so I thought it'd be fun to collaborate and write a cute bedtime story. Maybe a couple of sentences each. We'll set the theme as we go along. But please keep it little friendly. I'll start. 

 

Once upon a time, in a sunny woodland, lived a bunny....

aww this is super cute and fun! Hopefully, I don't totally derail what you had in mind! 

....

This bunny was different from the rest, she craved adventure and longed to explore outside of her woodland home. She had heard overheard the elder bunnies speaking of a magical place where all sorts of animals lived in harmony and she longed to find it to make new friends. After weeks of planning, today was the big day. On her back, she had a tiny backpack full of carrots and her trusty compass.

She was a little nervous about leaving everything familiar but bunny was also very determined.  She hopped to the entry of her burrow and, taking a deep breath, she started off on her adventure!

As she looked out of the burrow, her whiskers trembled in the chill of the spring morning. A large inviting dew drop hung from a branch just above her head. Looking at it she saw her own reflection, upside down. "Hmmm, that's weird, what's that bunny doing upside down in that drop of water?"

In her imagination the reflection winked at her and said, "Get to hopping", and she did!  She made her way through grassy valleys and rocky hills until she got to an unfamiliar forest.  The trees were different and new wonderful smells greeted her senses!

While meandering through the forest, the little bunny could hear a rumble in her tummy and kept an eye out for some scrumptious berries to take along on her journey. It didn't take her long to stumble upon a bounty of berry bushes, and my did they look big and juicy already!

Hopping over to the berry bushes, she began to pick berries to take on her journey. She was so engrossed with her task that she didn’t even notice a group of bunnies she’d never seen before approach her.

"Hi there! I'm Jack, what's your name?", the biggest bunny asked, startling her and causing her to drop the pile of berries she had just accumulated. Turning around she saw a group of three bunnies, all eying her curiously. "I wouldn't eat those unless you're looking for a tummy ache! We have some berries here if you'd like some?", came a squeaky voice, she was smaller and had light pink fur with an adorable brown nose.

"I'm Victoria and this is Joy, my sister", says the petite pink bunny. "I'm Chloé, nice to meet you all".  They guided Chloé to a clearing in the forest.  Large flowers emitted a pink and gold sparkling light in darkening day.  Vitoria showed Chloé several bushes that had blue berries and raspberries and boysenberries and one Chloé had never heard of, huckleberries.  All four rabbits got to their meal and Chloé loved them all but love the huckleberries the best.  Her delicate little muzzle fur and those of her new companions were stained a dark purple.
