European Football

I'm looking for any and all fans of soccer, or European football. While it's sacrilege to many people to support two teams, given that I'm an American and two people got me watching separate teams at the same time I feel a little okay about saying I support Man Utd and Barcelona. I'm definitely a Barca supporter first and foremost, but Man Utd is a close second.

Since it's summer we have the transfer period going on and my teams have had a few good transfers so far. How are everyone's teams looking and are there any transfers in/out that you're happy about?

I can't wait for the new season to start!

Lots of supports here. Even had an exclusive World Cup thread where we followed every match.

Been watching for almost 20 yrs. My friends from university got me too. Has made me new friends, great experiences, and loads of amazing memories. GGMU!❤️🏆

Dang, wish I was here for that! I've got some friends I talk with about soccer, but not as much as I'd like. I'm hoping to find some good soccer buddies here. Hoping Onana ends up being clutch for us like Big Dave has been for all these years!

I love futbol huge Messi fan here and a current Dortmund mostly because of Reyna

Messi is my favorite. I'm so glad I got a chance to go see him play in Camp Nou and for Argentina. I really liked Reyna last year at dortmund, I just know that this year he's been a little wishy washy, especially with the NT. I read about how his mom was stirring up so much trouble, which was crazy to read.

I don't know if Reyna has been wishy washy or is just young and the coach is kinda of a idiot lol. But Messi is the goat and I normally like Brazilian players better

I just know Reyna's mom has caused troubles, so that's what makes me concerned about him. Have you seen much of Vitor Roque?

I have heard more of Roque then seen witch I have seen a few times .but he could be very good. As for Reyna he should have never been benched for MLS players in the world cup that's on the coach in the world cup you play your best players period

My only counter argument to that is if the player is having his mom intervene with the team and is causing disruption, you got to find harmony. Reyna may be the best USA player, but he's not compared to Messi, CR7, Mbappe, or any other of the top players for their national teams.

Never said he was the best In the world.but if your the US you still should play your best players. And most likely he never put his mom up to it .his parents should never got involved and he should never been benched both things can be true

I also love football, and I understand how exciting it is to follow more than one team. Supporting Man Utd and Barcelona sounds like a great way to enjoy football from different leagues. The transfer period is always exciting, and it looks like both your teams have made some good moves.
I’m a Liverpool fan, and I’m hoping for some strong signings this season. By the way, have you ever thought of watching football from outside of Europe? For instance, I recently watched a match in the Syrian league, Al Tadamon vs. Morek, which was interesting! It’s a different experience but worth watching.

I really was rooting for Ukraine this morning. For sentimental reasons of course.
