Sweetness and lightning, my clueless first friend, gakuen babysitters, as miss beelzebub likes, and sleepy princess in the demon castle are my top little space animes. Pretty much anything that super cute and funny. Gotta be careful with the eps that gives you the feels cuz im a cry baby when im little 😅

I agree! I love Hayao Miyazaki Studio Ghibli films so much.

Like others have mentioned, Ghibli films are an obvious choice. For me, magical girl anime are also right in that sweet spot - although you do have to be a little discerning about this lol I'm not going to watch, say, Madoka if I want to feel happy and get into little space lmfao But something like Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, or Precure are all shoe-ins.

lilpri, chi’s sweet home, DoReMi, and pripara are all amazing anime for little space. Kiddie/ majo shoujo anime is actually my favorite so I could compile a giant list but if you’re just beginning these are my top recommendations.

I'm more of a middle than little, and I love My Hero. I think all the characters are so cool! If I'm feeling really small, like 3-5, I'll watch Bananya, Polar Bear Cafe, or Ghibli movies, especially Ponyo. My Daddy loves to watch most of them with me! He also loves Sailor Moon. I want to start Hamtaro!
