Pumpkinking0224 Posted October 26, 2023 Report Posted October 26, 2023 (edited) Hey all, I was just wondering if there’s anyone who has any tips and tricks about being able to get into little space without having a lot of resources (like without having a CG and them helping or stuffies and coloring pages) I’m in the military and it’s kind of hard to have things that usually would help around my barracks room which has two other people in it. If anyone has any advice I’ll gladly listen. Edited October 26, 2023 by Pumpkinking0224 1 2
LittleOceans Posted October 26, 2023 Report Posted October 26, 2023 The easiest activity for me is playing pretend here on the forum. Eating certain foods helps. Chicken nuggets are a sure way for me, and candy also. I collect cartoon or game character blankets, even blankets with cute animals. They help me, too. Watching cartoons too I don't know if any of this can help. Good luck! 2
SweetLu Posted October 26, 2023 Report Posted October 26, 2023 I agree with Ocean. 🙂 Playing pretend here is a great way to get into it (even if we do get a little naughty from time to time 😁). I keep a really small stuffie in my pocket or purse. If that's even too big, sometimes a scrap of fabric that I like the feel of in my pocket. Or, if I'm driving for work, I'll sometimes wear a snap bracelet that's a giraffe. Rosie Greer used to knit (ok, just dated myself), who says you can't have adult coloring books to relax, even in the barracks. 😁 Hope that helps a little! 2
Middlespace Brat Posted October 27, 2023 Report Posted October 27, 2023 Definitely agree with the others on playing pretend on the forum! While a lot of little stuff may feel centered around the actual material stuff, the wonderful thing about it is that it's really just you and your headspace! Having one or two small things like a coloring book or a stuffie can really help, but it's not necessary. Roleplaying is a really good way to get into your headspace, and you can do that online. There's lots of people who do that, but if you're too scared to talk to a real person, there's AI apps that simulate Caregivers. I used to have one called Talkie, just look up "daddy bf". Can you get a fluffy blanket? Snuggling up always helps me to feel little. You can also try games on your phone, sites like this, coloring apps, apps for cartoons, Youtube to see others in the lifestyle, or Pinterest for pictures/wishlists/things for when you get your own place! All of that can be done on your phone. I tend to save memes, pictures, or group pages that trigger my headspace, and you can do that on Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, or Reddit!! You can also make little friends there. You can customize your phone to be more little-inducing too. Can you customize your routine to help too? I know the military is really strict, but maybe making a game out of chores and tasks could make it easier to feel little. You can try experimenting with makeup and hair too. I hope this helps, even a little. 2
shadowrider Posted October 27, 2023 Report Posted October 27, 2023 Not sure how tight the regs are but I think the fabric in a pocket could fly. Maybe a small 1 or 2 inch square of faux fur fabric in your pocket. That could be like a tiny secret stuffie and it wouldn't be obvious unless someone was really eyeballing you for an inspection or something. Possibly a keychain that you like, again not sure about the regs on what you can carry in your pocket, maybe a P-38 or P-51, kinda looks like a pet shark with it's fin up. And no one will question you having that on your person. Good luck and thanks for your service. 2 1
Vampiress Posted November 2, 2023 Report Posted November 2, 2023 If you carry a purse you can put a very small stuffie in it. You can try coloring apps if you want to color. I use Recolor which is available on iOS and Android. You can play little games on your phone, a console, or a pc. Watching movies that put you into littlespace. Listen to music that makes you feel little. (For this, the movies, and games you can get headphones if you need to keep things quiet.) Eating foods that make you feel little like treating yourself to fun desserts or snacks. 1
