I’ve looked for you in the eyes of a friend, and in the comfort of a stranger. I’ve longed for you for many days, many months, and many years. Always wondering, when will I feel you? Is it because I picture you to be something specific? I don’t picture you to be perfect, but the way I critique others shows different. I know I shouldn’t hold that standard against anyone because when have i ever been perfect? Never. The love you give to others is purposeful and needed. Even if you were giving 100% and the other person was giving you 10%. It was necessary. Love is never something you should regret. Love is the beginning of all. Love is at the core of creation. It is the center of what we revolve around and what keeps us going. Love can come in different shapes and sizes. Love can come in different “flavors”. Some bitter. Some sweet. Some sour. Some of us prefer certain kinds of love and that’s okay! It’s okay to love love! But IF you’re searching for specifics..be kind to those that don’t fit just quite right. Don’t throw away something because you wanted a different kind of love. Appreciate those who come into your life and try to love you. Continue to find things that fill your cup with love and continue to pour your love into others❤️🫗
