Little Nyx Posted May 28 Report Posted May 28 Seasonal bug prevention (spray and granules) applied to windows, doors, car and other outside areas around the house. Destroyed 3 more wasp nests in the process. Hopefully this does the trick to discourage most of the nest building and keep undesirables out of the house. We've had an influx of spiders inside lately and I've had enough of Kiddo panicking, especially after bedtime. I swear one of their superpowers is knowing there's a spider nearby! 1 2

I do this several times a year for our house and to me it always feels like a really big job but I always feel so safe and cozy afterwards. So I wish that cozy safe accomplished feeling for you. 1
Little Nyx Posted May 29 Author Report Posted May 29 @PigtailPrincess Thank you. The job itself isn't difficult, but my mobility issues makes it challenging, so I always dread when it's time to do it. Just glad I only have to do a complete spray and sprinkle the granules once a year. Then it's only spot spraying trouble areas where the yellow jackets and wasps like to build nests. 1

I have strong reactions to bits and am flat out super allergic to any bee stings and we try to be csreful 1

I carry a bottle of windex around with me all summer like an old west gunslinger. The wasps don't like it when sprayed and usually buzz off {snicker at the pun} but it's not harmful to people or property, even when the wind blows it back into your face (which tends to happen often when spinning in a circle spraying wildly while hoping you don't land on your butt). It's well worth smelling like windex for a few months to drive off the assholes with wings!
