Ideas for Masters birthday?

Hiya, everyone!

First off, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm not used to the mobile version, haha.

Tomorrow is my Masters birthday and I'm trying g to come up with ideas for decorations and deserts, but aside from making balloon animals I'm afraid my creative Little side isn't coming to my rescue... And that's when I thought about the forums! Many Littles AND Daddies thinking of ideas together is so much better than one semi-sick Littles thoughts! (:

He doesn't exactly like chocolate, but he will eat it. He prefers more things like laffy taffy, cheesecake, Reese's peanut butter cups, white cake or carrot cake. As for decorations, anything goes because we just moved into our new place on the 31st, so its just us. (:

Thanks so much, guys!

Well you are in ther right place. This board is full of creative people. Have you thought about Traffic light jelly or jello depending where you are. You have a bottom layer of green, wait for that to set, then a layer of orange, again wait to set and then a red layer. That is always a hit. Oooooh what about carrot cake cup cakes? Decorations you could do paper hearts and stars and things to stick around. Maybe get some fairy lights while they are in the Christmas sale and use them to light up the place to make it look festive?

You could make him a nice note telling him all the things you love and appreciate about him. It's nice to have personalized mementoes with your littles private thoughts and praise.

The traffic light is amazing! I so want to do that! All these ideas are simply terrific and my Little side is exploding with glee (: I'm going to do all the ideas.

Could you make a carrot cake and coat it with cream cheese frosting and then cover it with reeses pieces (assuming that if he likes the peanut butter cups these might also be an idea) and make a pretty pattern?

I agree with using old christmas lights to hang around the place and perhaps some paper lanterns? For new years eve I bought these balloons that had LED lights in them so they glowed at night and it was really cool looking! Not sure if you could find those at a party shop?

Here in one of our cheap stores you can buy like huge martini glasses and brandy glasses for like $10 so if it were possible to get those, I'd put them on the food table and fill them with like reeses peanut butter cups or something he equally likes that could be used to fill the glasses. OR alternatively, you could fill them with coloured water and put tea light candles on the top so they float around!

Do you have a blackboard? For the last birthday party I decorated I used a chalk board (actually it was just a piece of MDF and I painted it with chalkboard paint from the hardware store) and wrote the menu on it but used different coloured chalk and made it look really pretty with little designs and things. Maybe that's also something you could try? Or just simply draw something cute and put happy birthday on it!

I personally think poppers are also awesome for any celebration. You can get quite big ones now where loads of confetti comes out!

Does he wear hats? Maybe you could make him a custom birthday hat? Like get a top hat and add your own ribbon band around it or something and then make like a little decoration on the front? Like say if he likes to play cards for instance then you could put like a fanned out hand of cards and stick it on with other things? If its just more of a private thing maybe you could even put Master on it?

Hope you have heaps of fun with it all! Happy creating! :)

Oh and once, seeing as I couldn't find the kind of table cloth I wanted I used a linen cloth (the one I used was blue for what I needed at the time but I would say go black) and make stencils (simply buy finding outlines of things on google and then printing and cutting them out) and using chalk to create your own table cloth? If you used a white table cloth you could of course use paint to do the stenciling, but I think if it's something you'd like to try then chalk would look really "little' art like.

Just another idea.

What if you made him a Reese Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake?! You just have to make a chocolate crust and mix in peanut butter into the cheesecake batter! You could even put mini Reese on the top as decorations!! . . . . I thought I was being really original here, but apparently someone already beat me to it.

If you have scrapbook paper or scrap fabric and some string, you can make a pennant banner. Oh, if you have a lot of cute pictures together, you can make a collage in the shape of a heart!

Reese peanut butter cup cheesecake....... *swoons*

I love love love the idea of a photo heart collage.

What about sending him on a scavenger hunt around your place? Each clue leading to some sweet note or small gift?
