Andriel_Isilien Posted Monday at 02:09 AM Report Posted Monday at 02:09 AM I have been appreciating the colors of Fall and how vibrant the leaves are changing. This reminded me of a craft I used to do to capture the beauty. For this month I chose making light catchers with leaves. 🍁 Take a walk outside in the garden, your neighborhood, or park and collect some leaves. It's better to gather freshly fallen ones that aren't crispy or curled. You'll want to be able to lay them flat and press in between pages of some books (much like you would with freshly picked flowers). After a couple of days, the leaves will be nicely pressed and stay flat now to use. String them up in whatever arrangement you like. I did a vertical string following rainbow colors in the example. You can also do a garland to hang horizontally. Using tape, glue, needle and thread works for whatever you have on hand. Hang them up directly in front of a window where the sunlight can shine through the pretty colors. Enjoy!
