first online meeting.

I am so excited tomorrow afternoon at 4 pm eastern time zone is our very first online meeting!!! I cant wait to get to know everyone and have some fun! tomorrow will be a very informal meeting I do have a very exciting fun scavenger hunt and other fun get to know each other games planned. nothing is required if u just want to watch the fun that is ok too!!! no video or mic required if u don't feel comfortable or don't have one there is a text area where text and I believe pics can be shared. Please have paper and something to write with for a fun goofy drawing game. I will post a link for the meeting around 3:50 pm eastern time zone. it will be done on Google meets so all u need is a Google account. There is an hour limit on free meetings there but if needed a new video can be made after that time is up. if anyone has any questions feel free to ask. I am so excited to meet everyone!!

Also, I have a Gmail account but I couldn't find what you were talking about to be able to put the link in.

I figured it out lol But, you are really sure you don't have to use the video part? You have to click on that video camera icon to go into it so I just want to make sure.  And yes, my excitement is also mixed with anxiety lol

That is quite alright! I dunno if I'll be talking much either and I definitely won't be on video. So, no worries! She's picked one so everyone can be comfy! 😀

yes the other group I'm in uses Google meets and there are people who join and turn off video and mics and just type in there chat bars. I will be posting a link here once it gets closer since there is a time limit the longer Im in the room the less time on that time slot there is. I understand the anxiety thing I'm anxious myself but more excited then anxious lol

I'm going to a protest today that originally I thought was going to be at 12 :00 but it's so cold I'm going to go to the later one. It's at 3:00 to 5:00 so I'll be around for the meeting. I just might not be on video or audio.

4 I triple checked yesterday before posting about it  that's fine audio and video are not required  I have a few games planned but pictures can be found or u can describe what u did during them

Lol I'm really glad, after setting my alarm and everything, that I got to thinking about the time difference! I STILL set it for central time lol

Our first meeting was so much fun!!!! I really enjoyed meeting everyone and getting to know them! some things we discussed for future meetings are having a sleepover where we do things throughout the day/night that everyone can join as they can and we have fun doing crafts, games and general fun!!! board game meetings, virtual outings, service badges to help at animal shelters and other places, bowling night can be done via a game or home if needed I personally have no bowling allies near me, snacks we can all make during meetings and enjoy together. please let me know if there are any allergies I need to be aware of so I don't include them in a snack, mental health/ self care badge which will include making a calming bottle, homemade stress balls, bath bombs, lip gloss and so much more!!! camping night which includes crafts and pit tin campfire so we can have yummy s'mores!! and so much more fun stuff!!! I'm so excited for our future meetings. meetings also can be tied into our monthly badges so we can work on them together too. also we will keep track of who attends and badges can be earned for attendence. I am so excited for all of this Please let me know if u have any other ideas that may not have been brought up or I missed I kept notes but might of missed something

These ideas sound like so much fun! 

I do have food issues and a strict/limited diet.  If you can share the recipe with me prior to the meeting, I will be able to substitute as needed for most recipes.

sorry i missed the first meeting. have had a few unforeseen medical issues the last two weeks.
