This month we are going to take a outing the zoo!!! Please let me know all of your favorite zoo animals so I make sure we visit those animals and pack for adventure!!! This will start our Zoo badge. I will even throw in a petting zoo animals so that can go towards our petting zoo part of the season challenge for everyone working on the spring challenges. We cant really touch them but I'm sure there are others like me unable to actually go to a petting zoo right now. Im planning a fun snack to tie into it just haven't figured out what I want to do yet once I do Ill post it so everyone who wants a snack can enjoy it. If you cant attend u still can earn the badge by going to the zoo in person or virtually to fulfil this part of the badge. Im so excited see everyone there!!!!

also going to try to find a virtual butterfly house too. I know I don't have one in my area and I'm sure others need it to for the spring challenges :)

This is SO CUTE! 

My favorite animals is an elephant! 🐘 I love their extra long snoots, and they're big soulful eyes! They have some of the most intricate memories of animals out there, and can recal complex geographical landscapes to get back to important sites. They are one of only two or three animals that can actively cry and have been known to mourn the loss of other animals and herd-mates they loved. They are totally the best! 

So excited!

I found 2 videos of the butterfly house at Melbourne zoo

this one is under 2 minutes but isn’t really a walk through. It also has someone talking about it after it reopened after they did a refurbishment (but could be muted?)  
this one is over 12 but is a walk through. 

My Favourite animals to see at the zoo are 
Meerkats
Elephants
Reptile house . 
all the attached videos are keepers talking about the exhibits 

I also have this video of a zoo safari. 
It is highly likely I spend a lot of time watching this type video and have a lot of links saved. Haha.

great!! I'll add them!! I found a really nice one too that I think was the Smithsonian that walked through one too but we definitely can do more then 1!! and if we don't get through everything we have the next meeting too I found a bunch of nice live cans if they are around lol

April 25 at 4 and I have found some great live feeds of all 3 of these animals when I was looking!!!

Does your zoo have red pandas they are my favorite. Also what time and time zone?

I found this cute little snack for a snack at the end of the meeting. all u will need is an apple, peanut butter (or butter of your choice im using sunbutter) bananas and raisins or anything u wish to subsititute I don't have bananas right now so I'm probably going to use bread as replacement. hopefully the site will be working so I can post link. room will upen around 15 mins before meeting. cant wait to see everyone there!!

there is a meeting today I honsestly don't know what to do if the sites down at 4 . Im going to try to start a room ahead of time there is an option to schedule a meeting so I'm going to try that option so I can put the link before the site goes offline again.

😆 Yeah, I'm a night owl too sometimes and other times I don't get a say in it. My brain just dies what it wants lol

If it's 2:00am there, you are about 14 hrs ahead of LilLizzie. So at the time of the meeting, it'll be around 6am i believe for you.

I should possible try harder to get some sleep then so I don’t sleep right through it haha

We had a great meeting today thank you to everyone who came out! We saw some amazing animals and some shy animals.
