The Princess Bride

I love this movie coz it's got everything... humor, swords, pirates, kings, queens, peasants, giants, and a bit of magic. It also shows that true love wins! 

I was traveling to Mayo, so finding an activity was tricky, but the theme of the movie was adventures! I was on an adventure at the hotel!  Here's pictures of me and my bed! (I even slept without my paci! I forgot to pack it!)

I also went up and chatted with the hotel attendant and watched the workers drain the pool to clean it! They asked me not to take pictures of the pool, or staff.

Sofia the First S4 E1 Day of the Sorcerers 

Today I watched an episode of Sofia the First! I love this little Princess! She is always trying to do the right thing! In this episode she was with Cedric at a Magical conference and uncovered an evil plot to take over all the kingdoms using a special magical stone! 😱 But Sofia saves the day with honesty, integrity, and by asking for help from her friends and mentors. (I'm not gonna spoil it and tell you how coz then you won't watch it!) 🤭

My activity today had to be kinda simple coz I had my appointment today at Mayo and traveled back home. (It was a great appointment and I was able to apply for financial assistance and talk to the social worker, too, all before lunch!) Sooo today I wore a couple magical, Princess bracelets! 

 

I also wore my Princess Tiara while I watched Sofia the First! Plus, my poor paci... I missed it sooooooo much while I was gone, so I had some paci time during the show, too!

Tuesday, April 21

Today was Sleeping Beauty Day... a Day of rest and recover for me, so I watched Sleeping Beauty, Aurora for  those of you who don't know. 

What I love most about this beautiful movie is the fairies and the beautiful pink dress! I love how the fairies do their best to help Prince Charming.  

My activity was sleeping all day... I'm exhausted from cleaning and traveling. I didn't have Prince Charming to wake me up, but the door bell did and so did my alarm. 

I also colored a couple of pictures!

Cinderella 

I love the idea that my past doesn't define my future.... oh wait! That's one of my affirmations! Cinderella works hard and does the right thing and finds happiness.  Hopefully one day everyone will find happiness! 

I intended to clean today, but my tummy said no... I did color a picture today and I have 2 other pictures I have done this week. Hopefully I can do more tomorrow.  I have soooo much laundry to do!

I was pretty sick today, so I listened to my audiobook instead of watching movies. I'll try to catch up on the movies tomorrow! My Jasmin costume is waiting for me!

Princess Week movies

Tangled 

I love how Rapunzel battles through complex feelings of leaving her abusive home and finding happiness... I also love how Flynn helps her make her dreams come true! 

 

Princess Diaries 1 

I love how Mia grows into her role as a princess by recognizing that her true strength was in knowing herself. 

 

Princess Diaries 2 

I love how Mia continues to embrace who she is, but also seeks happiness.  

 

Today i continued to rest... now under doctor orders I'm resting and on fluids for a few more days, until the new meds take effect. 

I started to color a picture, but didn't finish. I did shower and put my hair in braids, with my daughter's help!

What an excellent assemblage of movies and activities, especially the princess bride which is one of my all time favorite movies, has some of the best memes and has one of the most romantic scenes in all movie history right after they tumble down the side of the hill together. And the part where they say as you wish which has taken a special meaning in my life as well in an odd way. I really like your pictures and your activities. I am going to pre-approve this because it's been very hard to get on here when I have time and I currently have time so I'm just going to approve it and trust that you will follow through tomorrow.
