what I learned about daisies

daisies grow up to 8 in and are flat to the ground. They are called land daisies because they take up the grass. They blossom March to September. The closes at night and opens during the day. They are native to West central and North Europe but very natural in temperate regions like the Americas and Austrailia. They prefer fields. They grow where the minimum temperatures are -30 degrees F in full sun to partial sunlight. You can eat young leaves raw in salads or cooked. The flowers can be eaten when used as teas.
