Any Littles going to, or are in college next month?

Hey everyone! I was just wondering if any Littles are new in college right now. If so, do your friends know about your interest in ddlg and how do you manage it? I'm so nervous to be honest. I'm leaving next month and I'll be pretty far from home. Like almost 7 hours. Does anyone have any tips or some advice?

I'm starting uni in September! I'll be moving closer to Daddy, so hopefully we'll get out in the lifestyle and make new DDlg friends. In terms of new friends, I'm hoping I'll be able to be slightly more myself - childish and excitable - but I doubt I'll reveal my little side fully to anybody. It's just too personal, and scary for somebody else to see that side of me!

I'm going on my 3rd Year this August. My friends don't know...mostly because it's really personal and I don't really feel the need to share that much. But, my best friend knows like my preference is for caretakers and college guys don't really offer that (hence me not really dating).

Right now, I'm in a online relationship which suits me quite well. :)

I think it all depends in where you're going. I feel like if you're going to a bigger city you could proably post on the forum here to find little in your area to talk to or play with and make friends with people who share the lifestyle.because you ARE moving so far from home that might actually be a good way to make friends!

I come from a really small country... So we don't really have the same acceptance or open-minded views that other bigger countries may have (we're allot like a small town).

So really what I'm trying to say is...find some friends who are in the DDLG Lifestyle in your area (we have forums that can help with that).

But, you should know that you'll probably have better luck if it's a larger city than like a smaller one. It's just my opinion from experience that people in smaller cities may not accept it as much and so might have like....less people who are in to the lifestyle or who would accept it.

Um yea. But hey, I welcome online friends :) so hit me up anytime.

I hoped that helped.

I'm currently in college and my school is non-conventional school so everyone is really supportive. My circle of friends are aware of my dynamic with my Daddy and I don't live on campus so it's really easy to manage. I work and go to school so whenever I have the chance to relax, I'm instantly in my little space.

I am going to be a sophomore next month and I'm 5 hours away from home. I found an accepting group of friends, like for example my best friend is a submissive and has been collared by her dom, but my school is very Catholic, so I doubt they would be too open to this idea. My old daddy worked right down the street and so it was easy to be near him.

If you need to talk I'm only a click away!

I finished college (currently in grad school now, boy do I feel old) but I had some friends that knew while I was in undergrad. I figured out I was a little like my senior year but all my friends basically knew without knowing (if that makes sense). So the friends I did tell weren't really surprised when I told them. They just accepted it as one of my quirks.

Ohh! I'm starting college next month too! I'm excited to meet new people, but I don't really plan on telling anyone about my little side, that seems a little personal to me :p I'm nervous about dating though... I am afraid that I'll end up in a relationship with someone who will not be open to it at all :(

I'm graduating in August, but I'm gonna start a Master's course in September.

At this time I haven't told anyone IRL about being little.

I was living for the first time on my own this year on the other side of the world. The homesickness sometimes gets to you, but if you try to keep in contact and go to see your fmily if it gets really bad you should be ok. Try to make good friends and spend as much time as possible hanging out with them. I was at my saddest when I was alone in my room. Go out and do things, explore the area. Anything to pass time really.

I hope this advice helps.

I'm starting college next month, and I'm super nervous, even though I'm not going far at all. I'm in a dorm with two other girls which means NO privacy whatsoever. I'm toying with the idea of bringing a cute looking stuffie so I can just pass it off as me being cute and quirky. Also, I have a really fuzzy plush Frozen blanket that I might hold on to. The only people who know I'm a little are my friends from high school, and I'm a super open person with really accepting friends, so most people I hung out with my senior year of high school know I'm a little, or at the very least, know that I'm into 'daddies'. My two best girl friends know absolutely all about it, and a few of my guy friends know the BDSM/"daddy kink" aspect of it.

College is a great place to be "lg." In college, it is perfectly acceptable to be mature and focused one minute...talking about your major and your career plans and what you learned in school that day...and childlike the next. Most people probably won't even notice you're into DDlg...they'll think you're just blowing off steam. My college was full of people who had no idea what DDlg was...and they did things like host parties for us where we got to make wax sculpture hands and color and have "Dino day" in the cafeteria. I knew more people into stuffed animals, glitter, cartoons, kids' foods, and games in college than I did when I was an actual kid.

I'm little and away at university and it's surprisingly easy to hide being a little without not acting little there. I even live in the dorm rooms and it's just fine.
