Baby sitter for a little / middle ?

recently came across the idea of a babysitter on a different site and became intrigued.. I went to google it and the first thing that popped up was a post from THIS forum 🤯😱, but it was from 2015 , so I wanted to make another one ? Idk

lemme know if there’s any females possibly interested in doing virtual babysitting / basically chillin w/ me ? 🤔🧐💭Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️

What is your little age? I think that would be important to hang out. Also your likes, give an idea of what chilling with you would be?

I have seen friends personals basically asking for this, I would be interested in both sides honestly, having or being a babysitter, it would depend on the connection but I have never replied to one because I haven't come across one that seems compatible.

I can attest that having a babysitter / older sibling is a wonderful thing. I wouldn’t trade my Oniichan for the world. 
 

I do agree that it would be helpful if you listed some things like stated above. 

Little age , do you want someone in the same age range or younger or older , do you want someone to actually babysit you ? Because babysitting entails being a tattle tale to your daddy… as well as being able to implement punishments depending on what you guys discuss. Or does having a sibling that you can get into trouble with sound more your gig ? I’d personally get into specifics with something like this cause it can get confusing for one or all parties really fast , and people can catch feelings they didn’t mean to if things weren’t discussed properly. 
 

I think the best luck you’ll have in finding something like this is in the personals or friend zone , unless you already have someone picked out since you tagged them heh.

Little Age : still tryna figure that out . Idk somewhere between maybe 6-7 to like 13 ish

Sitter Age : older. Def a middle or a I guess a mommy?

Like : after reading the replies so far and thinking a little bit about it I guess I’d like “accountability buddy?” Lol help me stay focused on homework and housework and shit 

Dislikes : you are NOT a replacement/ filler; you are NOT my “mommy” / “caregiver”. Just a babysitter. Don’t cross that line please . Treat the relationship as you would a “typical ____ yr old & babysitter relationship”

Last week I was imagining how nice it would be if my future daddy were to have a big dog that could be like an older sibling to me 🥰 They definitely wouldn't tattle on my mischief 🤭 but also be a good buddy to remind me to get out of bed on time, go outside, and comfort when I'm alone, etc. My guinea pigs do that a little for me and caring for them is so fulfilling but a huge loving dog I think would be so nice 😊🐾

This sentiment is so precious 🥹 I imagine you with a huge fluffy white dog , like a big huge Alaskan dog that’s almost as tall as you heh.

OMG YES! A Great Pyrenees that looks like a polar bear because I do prefer cooler/colder climates. Or a Great Dane like Scooby Doo! 😁 German Shepherds are still my favorite though 😊 There is a family I'm friends with and they have a particular breed of a German Shepherd that's a service dog to one of the kids and that boi is HUGE I tell you! Almost the size of a small bear that I could ride on.

I think having a babysitter or foster CG would be a cool thing to have. Like a platonic situation that would help a little with things they might need some accountability with. Someone that would check in a few times a week or something.

Once upon a time ago I had considered a dynamic like this with someone (platonic, no romance, no sex), but it didn't end up happening. Seemed like a cool idea at the time because it was purely wholesome without all the strings and complications that come with romance. I hope you find what you are looking for, because it seems fun!

I was speaking in general because I see so many littles without CGs, including myself,  that I feel for everyone, but I would want a sitter.  It's something I haven't really thought about before. Maybe there could be a sitters club but not really sure how that would work. If there's CGs that would want to maybe take turns or even want to do anything like that. There's a lot of clubs here already that are helpful.

I don’t mind being the wet blanket at parties , so I’ll throw my two cents here again. 
 

I don’t think a babysitters club is necessarily a good idea , in short term thinking I’m sure it could sound amazing but long term and bigger picture (imo) it would just turn into a club full of what basically are personals and a hot mess. 
 

As I mentioned before , babysitting can be a very serious thing if someone already has a partner. Having a club where people just jump in and out revolving relationships (even if it’s only babysitting) can turn into a giant drama magnet. 
 

We have a friend zone and a personals area on this site very much for a reason , for all of this kind of stuff. Posting your ad in the areas it’s meant to be just makes the most sense. Having a thread asking questions like this or maybe for advice on the subject is great , but I think it’s also helpful to point out that it’s really jarring to just ask people if they want to be a babysitter especially if their profile says they’re strictly a little or you don’t know them that well and what not. 
 

Also , as a club owner I see issues on that end as well. A club like babysitting would get a lot of traction and if someone decided to have a babysitting club they would need to be available and diligent more often than not. @shadowrider already does a lot for this site and everyone on it , and having a club that to me sounds like it would be a rabbit hole for drama and reports could make the man rip his hair out. 
 

My opinion on making it a club is that it would turn into a club for personals depending on how it was set up and the rules that were created and again , if the club owner was actually present enough to handle issues with the club so it doesn’t put a bunch of shit on Shadows plate cause bless that man’s heart he does enough for us. I just don’t think it’s a great idea , if anything maybe add a babysitting tab in the personals area.

It was just a thought but I realized the idea would be difficult to run with.  It would be difficult to get babysitters to commit to doing something like that, and yes it could turn into a whole mess. I think there are a lot more littles than there would CGs or babysitters on here. So I agree. It would have to be incredibly organized and not too many people have that kind of time. Like I said there's a lot of clubs on here and I know there are several ddlg related discord groups as well that people can take advantage of.

I think the most effective way would be to run it as a tab like the friend zone ! 💪🏻 That way there’s no spam all over a club , people can be more selective and specific about who they want to interact with ect. 
 

I think babysitting is a wonderful idea , I just think it needs to be dealt with gentle but diligent hands is all.
