Make a bracelet. I learned how to do this with real bracelet materials today!!!! Usually I use pipe cleaners and foam beads... hehe

I made breakfast for my daughter today...

I had eggs... I usually need to make 2 meals.. we have different food needs. 

 

I hope this can double as my Try a new food... the baked apples were sliced and peeled apples with pumpkin pie spices on them and a little bit of water then in the microwave they went! My kiddo did not like them, but I sure did!

Plant a flower.... I planted Chia seeds... @Juju does that count? I am very allergic to flowers so I don't have them at my house...

Donate to a food pantry!

 

Here's my box of donations this month! I usually donate something every couple of months, once I have a full box. I've been cleaning, too! So far I have donated 3 giant bags of clothes, some puzzles that are too hard for me, old dishes, shoes, and some kid's stuff.

I visited a WildlifePreserve! Our nearest State Park is about 45 minutes away and doesn't open til the end of April, so I went to one of the local Wildlife Preserves. We have several because they built a new highway and bypass about 10 - 15 years ago and needed dirt, so we got some beautiful little ponds along the "river" that's more like a stream here... This is one of my favorite places. I remember learning to fish with my grandpa and uncle here as a kid and even once coming here with my dad. He was so busy fushing himself, he didn't notice the snapping turtle steal the fish he had tied to a line at the edge of the lake! 😆 He was soooo mad! Then we had to hunt for that stupid turtle til dark! He said turtle meat was better than fish,  and snake... I started crying and we got to go home...😊

A few years later we saw a huge turtle in the middle of the old highway... slowly crossing from a runoff pond to the river... it caused a few accidents that day... my brothers swore it was the same turtle... we had a huge family argument with my uncle and grandpa at Friday Family Dinner that week! It was great! My grandma finally ended it with... "Well you don't eat turtle around here anyways so leave the creature be!" 😆

It's nice and peaceful here today and I needed some quiet. I saw some geese just enjoying life, a Robin singing his pretty little heart out and some huge dragon flies! I also heard a woodpecker somewhere and another bird I couldn't recognize. I did stay in the car... geese kinda scare me... I've been chased more than once... 🫣😱😵‍💫

I'll come back when it's warmer and try a trail. There's a couple to walk on and a bike trail back to my town.

I donated some more stuff... this was actually the 2nd car load... I'm deep cleaning the house... I also filled and had a dumpster emptied in the past week... I already started refilling it again...

Make lunch

This is a meal I made... I had to clear the table first... it was 2 bags of trash and several hours of work, plus a nap, but we have a table to eat at again! 

I made mini steaks in the oven,  mashed red potatoes,  asparagus,  green beans and blackberries for dessert... 

I can't have beef, so I skipped the meat and added cheese to my potatoes for protein!

I also cleaned a drawer... actually today I clean 4 drawers... I filled 3 garbage bags full of "stuff" and organized my little things better! I didn't know I had this many pacifiers! 🤭🥰

I am missing a few bottles... I'm gonna need to keep looking... tomorrow a friend is coming over to help me work on my bedroom so Saturday I can build my new bedframe and set up the mattress!
