Rosey’s Easter Badge

Here are my things for our Easter badge. I hope everyone had a lovely holiday! 💕🐣 @Daddy Bear 77 can you sign off on my badge please? I think I did all the pieces for the holiday weekend. 

1. In our family we celebrate both Ostara and Easter at this time of year. We have certain traditions we do each year: we always paint eggs and bury them in our garden, I make Easter baking together with my girls, and we have a big Easter dinner with all of my siblings and their kiddos. It’s also a tradition to go to the experimental farm and agricultural museum up here. We get to see all the spring baby animals, make crafts, learn all about cocoa and eggs, and just generally have a hoot!

2. Here are the eggs my girls and I coloured:

3. As part of Easter Day the girls woke up to baskets from the Easter bunny and an egg hunt around the house. I played with them and their new toys and then made Easter cookies. Unfortunately my two year old threw her toy unicorn while we were playing and it landed on my foot and dislocated a toe - darn ehlers joints! But that couldn’t stop the day! (Just meant I had to wear slippers to dinner lol)

After nap we went to the big family dinner with my family. It was both a wonderful day because of all the fun with my girls, and a hard one as the first Easter since separation but still going together as family. One of the best parts of my day was my Easter surprise Daddy made for me so I could have a little holiday magic too, something I haven’t had in a long time. So at the end of my day I got to do a virtual egg hunt with Daddy.

What a lovely tradition little one. It's so interesting to see how different different beliefs observe similar holidays. It sounds like you and your littlerns had a wonderful time baking, crafting, visiting family and getting to see animals. Those eggs are so beautiful too, you and your babies are so talented. 

I'm glad you You guys got to have so much fun together and hunt that wascally wabbits eggs but I'm so sorry you got hurt and had to deal with some of the other unpleasantness. 

I'm really glad you had a good time hunting eggs together, that was the high point of my day. I'm really happy I could help return enchantment back to my little enchantresses day ☺️. 

Your picture of Ostara is so beautiful and you really outdid yourself on the variety of cookies they look like they, to quote Indiana Jones, should be in a museum.
