I finish my recycled cloth project. I have painted my rocks and I colored a picture of earth running out of time. @InspireDaddy did I do enough to get my Earth day badge?

Let's take a look at your Earth Day work...

Well you know I love your sewing skills, and you seem to have made something very creative.

The painted rock looks colourful and beautiful. I'm sure it will be a lovely surprise for someone to find.

The colouring in is very mindful of the task... but I'm not sure I understand the metaphor... Is the candle wax turning into water? Are the earths oceans made of candlewax? And if there was a candle inside a hour glass then it would simple run out of oxygen and self extinguish... so we have nothing to worry about?

Plus I thought the earth was flat??

Can I really award an Earth Day badge when you have depicted the earth as a globe... 

Why are you badges always so hard to decide...

OK fine, the Earth is not flat... (or not proven to be yet!)

And I think the metaphor of the image is probably that the use of hydrocarbons over time is causing rising sea levels... which makes it a very good choice for Earth Day.
