MissNMTX Posted May 4 Report Posted May 4 Cute American Anglophile in need of yet another explanation. I was watching another expat video the other day and it was all about Britain's instant coffee culture. I get it's not tea, but instant, really? 1
Tendillo Posted May 26 Report Posted May 26 Yes, it's grim isn't it? Instant coffee from a jar 🙄 (and tea bags aka tea dust, with added micro plastics). It's not difficult or expensive to buy a filter, cafetiere or a moka pot, with some ground coffee (or even grind your own beans), then you can enjoy some real coffee within a few minutes. 1
MissNMTX Posted May 26 Author Report Posted May 26 @Tendillo It did make me smile. It's not as long f we don't have instant coffee here, just that it seems to be more cultural in England and if we use it here it's mostly for recipes. 1
CupcakeSparklies Posted Friday at 10:14 PM Report Posted Friday at 10:14 PM Daddy says instant coffee is probably more of a thing here because of everyone having a kettle.
