I've been thinking extensively about our troup, how i want it to be both fun and entertaining and possibly educational from time to time. I was thinking also that the badge activities may need to be a little more "structured". In the sense that they would be easier to read if they were perhaps in categories, as @SweetLittleDreamerdid for her monthly badge or basically something like it. 

After you read this completely, comment below please, so i know whose read it.

So! These are the things I've come up with that i feel will make the badges alot easier, more relaxing and fun to do! 

* Badges: These will have three categories: 

~ Subject matter -Learning

~ Activities: 

~ Crafts 

These will be the three main categories, with a possibility of one or two being added from time to time.

**Time and Badges:

* Monthly Badges:

When thinking about when I was an actual leader and what it entailed, I remember that the time laps on badges wasn't really a month to month thing.  Soooo...

* Monthly badges will be finished and turned in, when you  finish them.  If you are having difficulties time wise, due to rl situations, to be able to get them finished, you can now complete them at your own pace. I only ask that you turn them as soon as you are able. 

* Monthly badges are the only required thing in the Troup. If you can't do the monthly, don't like the monthly, etc... Then you need to do extra for a day badge. 

* If you can't do something because you're in a different country, please let me know! We will adjust your monthly badge accordingly.  Same goes for holidays. If you don't celebrate because of personal preference or beliefs, let me know. I don't want you not to participate because of these issues.

 

* Day Badges: 

These will basically be the same as now and due within the month they're posted. For example;  Dino Day badge is the 15th But you will have the end of the month of May to finish it. 

Badge info  will need to be handed in to me by the 30th of each month. This is so I can get the info and badge pic to Shadow rider. He then in turn will post them to our profiles. 

Also, there will be a one month break from posting new stuff. That way, everyone can have a chance to catch up, and not have any new material added to it. At the end of this particular month, ALL badges and activities will need to be turned in to your perspective leaders. They in turn will let me know. Or you can. As long as I'm informed by the end of that month. 

I'm thinking that we might wait until FEB.,

1. Because it's the shortest month.

2. We started in March of this year, so March would be the month to start doing new badges. 

3. It just seems like it would be the best month.

 

BADGE RECORD:

Please make a personal badge record if your badges.  The Glow Worm Guilds Personal Badge Records, is where you will make this. Pick new topic, put your name as the title and there you go! Just comment when you finish things and list it in there.

 

Leaders: 

* We need a few more leaders. I would possibly like to have 2-3 more. 

* Your leaders are there to help you. If you need to ask them something, I'm sure they are capable of helping. And they know if they aren't sure or just don't know, they can come ask me. YOU can ask me also, just be sure to list the "@" before my name.

* I still feel it's best to not have your Daddy's or CG's sign off on your personal badges. It is just more fare and considerate of others. 

 

MONTHLY BADGE VOLUNTEERS:

First, i just want to say Thank you! You volunteering not only gives my brain a break but also gives a change stuff! I really appreciate it!

* You will decide on your theme. Find a picture of the badge to go with it and follow the guidelines above. (Badges). 

* Make sure to try and add different levels of difficulty. We have both Little's and Middle's in here. If you can't come up with very much, that's okay.

* If you volunteer and you're not a mod or a leader, let me know. You can send me the stuff you want up and i can get it posted for you. Noooo problem!

* I will go thru the post and just make sure everything is there. Make any corrections, if any.

 

Meetings:

As  usual the virtual meetings held by @lillizzie24, will stay the same, unless she changes something.

Finally, I truly hope y'all find this easier and more relaxing. If you have any questions, just ask, cause i know this seems like alot. But i really think once it takes hold, it'll be a lot easier for everyone.

@Juju Thanks for all this work! I love this group, but i took my bedtime meds and really can't answer til tomorrow... 🙃

I'll reread what I wrote and see if i can put it better. I'll have to do it tomorrow. I'm getting a headache and it's almost time for nini.

@SweetLittleDreamer I've changed the monthly badges. If you reread it,i think it might make better sense, and I've changed it a little.

@Juju Thank you for this! I've read everything, I'm a little confused on this section but otherwise everything else makes sense 😃
