This year, marks the 250th anniversary of the United States. This badge will help us celebrate, learn about the history of the United States and just have fun! I know we are not all from the United States, but this gives a chance for everyone to learn about the United States, but also, there are activities that will just be fun to do.

*Pick a leader before starting 

*Let them know which activities you want to do

* Due date by end of month (extended because of site hiccups)

* Remember to take photos

To earn this badge you must do at least 3 activities but can do more if you would like.

Learn:

1. Look up the history of the 4th of July in the United States. Write a paragraph about what you have learned


2. Betsy Ross made the flag in June of 1776. Research the history of the American flag. Write a paragraph of what you have learned. *Little's can just color a picture of the flag.*


3. Read or listen to books about the 4th of July:

Craft:

1. One way Americans celebrate the 4th of July is with fireworks. Make your own fireworks with whatever you want to. I have a few fun projects I have found. There are so many fun ways to make fireworks on Pinterest here are a few I have found.

2. Make an American flag with anything you have on hand. It can be with construction paper, paint, chalk. If you can sew make your own with fabric. Be crafty and have fun!!!
3.  Make any craft that celebrates America. I have found so many fun crafts on Pinterest. 

Food fun:

Many Americans  have picnics and barbeques for the 4th of July

1. Have a picnic or barbeque even if its indoors


2. Make a patriotic snack. I have a few suggestions but can be anything you would like:

Strange question, it was our big Canada Day here yesterday - we celebrate July 1st! Would it be alright for me to do the same activities for this badge but for my country?

Yes! I don't see why not. I have Canada Day under the Day badges but you can do it for your monthly.

I plan on doing numbers 2 in Learn About ,2 in Craft and 1 in Food. 

@DaddyRaven I'm about finished with June's stuff. I'll let you know hopefully by Sunday. I just like about one thing for watch patch.  JUNE Monthly, World Ocean Day and Dino Day.

How's everyone doing with bagdes this month??? I haven't started yet, but I hope to get June and July done this month. The next 2 months are me!!! I'm super excited and over planned, so I'm trimming it down...lol

I’m finally getting around to posting this here! This is my plan for the July badges. Sadly due to my food sensitivities and intolerance acting up I’m not able to do any food related activities.
