This day is celebrated by the Country of Canada, our neighbors up north, celebrating their own liberation day! 

* Choose 3 activities +1 craft.
* Choose a leader and specify what activities you will like to try and do.
* Make sure to take pictures of your activities and when finished, contact your leader.
* Due as soon as you are finished.

Learn: Things About Canada and it's history

1. Do a bit of research and reading to find out what some of the earlier history for Canada is all about. Specifically within the 1800's. Write a paragraph or two.

2. Find out what the history is about their flag.  What is the significance of the colors and the maple leaf? Do a short paragraph.

3. What types of wild life calls Canada home? Which specific species do they have that we do not have in the US.

4. Although part of North America, as is the USA, it is a separate country.  Tell which languages are spoken there, besides English. Explain in a short paragraph. 

5. What is the National flower and bird/ animal of Canada.  Do they have one? Paragraph.


Food:
This section is a "Choose your own and make it" activities.  There are many popular foods that we don't have here.  Pick one and if you can make it. If not, write a paragraph about the different types of snack foods they have in Canada that we do not.

Crafts:
* Make a Canadian Flag.  Use fabric, paper, paint, crayons.
*Littles can color one.
* Make a maple leaf garland
* Paint maple leaves on rocks
* Paint a jar with red and white
* Little's, make a flag out of your own handprint!
* Make red and white tissue flowers
