September All about Trees Badge - Amelia

Hi! How are you all doing? I managed to achieve my goals for this month's badge 🥳 I started with reading a book about acorns and trees! I lost the first picture, but recreated the scene to show you:

 

After that, I put an avocado core in water but it hasn't sprouted yet!

And finally, I wrote this story about a magical tree:

Once upon a time, a little fairy was traveling across the biggest forest in the world. She wanted to visit her grandmother fairy, who lived on the other side of the gigantic forest. After a few days of flying, she started feeling sore and tired. She wished she was already there! But she knew she had many more days of traveling ahead. To motivate herself, she thought of all the fun activities she would do with her grandma: baking the best cookies ever, swimming at the pond with her grandmother's friends, dancing at the weekly festivities held up in town, etc.! Alas, she felt more and more and more tired by the minute. So, she decided to take a break and rest on the root of a beautiful tree. She chose this one because it seemed that the tree called to her: "Come to me, rest a few hours. I promise you'll be feeling much better when you wake up". The little fairy agreed and settled herself for a looooong nap. Surely enough, she fell asleep as soon as she rested her head on the soft bark of the root. When she woke up, it was to the sound of music and chit-chatting. She opened her eyes and realized she was in the middle of the town where her grandma lived! She had teleported magically! Or...was it possible that the tree - a magical tree ? - had helped her? She would never know for sure, but she sure was very happy! She quickly ran off to her grandmother's house and had the most wonderful time visiting her! The End
