Advice for little clothes?

I'm a new little and also a student so I don't have too much money.

 

Does anyone have any recommendations for where to get cute little clothing?

It really depends on your preferences. I've got a lot of my clothes second hand. Sometimes I modified them myself. It's more of a matter of getting lucky compared to buying new stuff though.

One of the mods (ArcofInfinity) started a review thread, and tried some cheap onesies and stuff similar to those from other Little stores. You could check that out here: https://www.ddlgforum.com/topic/35001-little-products-review/

 

Or try the Wish app. I’ve heard a lot of stuff is hit or miss though.

 

Personally I just get my stuff wherever- thrift stores, online, Target, Kmart (Aus & NZ chain store). I even wear PJ tops as everyday wear if they’re cute and appropriate. You just gotta run with what you have available.

Try going to a thrift shop or buying used clothes online. There are a lot of cute finds there. Also go to the kids clothing section.

For me I like to buy new girls clothes from clothing and department stores when it significantly reduced in price. End of season sales and clearance can get some very cheap good quality clothes. Have spent a lot of time online and going to stores keeping track of the really appealing clothes waiting to go below the price I’m prepared to pay. Often the clearance price is close to what a similar item secondhand would be.  Almost always checking websites every day and looking out for in-store specials. Prefer to get high quality clothes with significant discount rather than buy cheap poor quality. Where I am, even if you pay $5 for something that was originally $45 still means all the consumers protection laws still apply as regards to quality and durability. $45 pyjamas are often much better than $10 ones, but not always. Have too many clothes, so try to only buy stuff that I really love. That isn’t really working.

 

As it adult biological male who likes to wear 12 year old girl clothes, often go with the cover story of buying for my niece and nephew. I do buy them clothes, but mostly it is for me. It is a bit weird wearing the same clothes as my niece in only one size bigger, I just really like them. Have seen actual children in public wearing the some of the clothes I have, which is a strange feeling. Prefer to order online and pick up in store where possible. Getting things delivered ends up with too many questions from my family.

I always seem to find the best stuff at church rummage sales and second hand stores. Go up sizes if you can and don't be afraid to look in both the men's and women's sections.

When looking for little style clothes I seem to follow a very simple rule: WWGB. 'What Would Grandma Buy'.
