So it has come to my realization in the last week that  I am very dependent on other people to make me feel small, even though I can initiate the regression by myself, I still feel the need that my peers and my Daddy are to help me maintain my littlespace.

I need to make my littlespace MY space so I can regress without the assistance of others, perhaps other littles are going through the same issues and can follow this topic for ideas themselves.

I have a few ideas to try and keep my littlespace to be independent but I'd like to discuss here what other littles do to keep their littlespace independent.

    My ideas are:

Onesies (I just bought a onesie)

    Fuzzy knee high socks
Colouring books (got LOTS of these)

Doing my hair in pigtails or little alien buns.

Watching shows on the kids account on Netflix.

Perfume or any kind of scent that reminds you of childish things (my perfume is cotton candy)

Stuffies (I have a Stitch plush that Daddy got me but I ordered another stuffie from Build A Bear online which is taking forever lol.)

    Binkies

    Painting my nails bright colours

Bubble baths or just bubbles bought from a store to blow around

Baby blankets just to hold or put over your pillow

    J-pop or K-pop songs.

I started a little journal to write things that make me feel little and happy. I have little 'agendas' in there like brush my teeth twice a day and I get a sticker for that day, since I am guilty of not brushing twice a day due to forgetting about it.

That's about all I have for ideas...

Does anyone do anything else that makes them feel little while also being independent ?

    Haiii!

I'm new to the community but I have been little for about 3 years. I totally understand the struggle of only being little when you are with other littles or with your Daddy. There is quite a list of things you can do that can help you stay little, even when you are by yourself c:

A lot of the things that I do are probably already in your list but I'm going to write out the whole list anyways, just so that I don't miss anything.

    Little Space Ideas:

    > Coloring books/drawing pictures for your Daddy & friends

    > Eating "little" food (dino chicken nuggets, fun shaped mac & cheese, etc.)

    > Building a pillow fort and then camping out in it for the day

    > Playing with stuffies

    > Taking bubble bathes/using fun bath bombs

~ Play with toys in the bath (washable crayons, rubber duckies, etc.)

    > Writing in a little journal

    > Dressing in little clothes and do your hair & makeup ♥

    > Pacifiers

    > Cuddling up with soft pillows & blankies

    > Watching kids movies & tv shows

    > Searching on the internet for little ideas, cute things, little outfits, and playing dress up games online

    > Taking a nap c:

    >  Going outside and playing in leaves, making flower crowns, riding a bike, playing in a sprinkler, playing in the snow (whatever the season brings!)

    > Making a little space (if you have a spare room or feel like making your room into a little sanctuary)

    > Taking care of yourself (I can't stress that one enough)

~ A happy & healthy little is the best way to be ♥

    > Getting in the mental little space;

~ I talk to myself in my little voice and make up stories or sing songs (might be a little weird sounding, but it helps me to get into the right mindset)

~ Try not to worry about "adult" things, just be you and little and forget about your worries for a while

~ Get online and talk to other people (I know you're trying to be individual and little, but sometimes a little extra help isn't a bad thing)

    > Listening to fun music and dancing around your room

    > Playing video games (I am a gamer so I really like to play things like the Sims 4, Animal Crossing, Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, etc.)

    > Putting stickers and bandaids on your body & face (a cute way to feel little)

    > Playing with your dog or cat (or any other animal if you have pets)

    > Painting your nails & toe nails fun colors

That's all I can think of for right now but I may come back and edit this later with some more c:

I hope this helps and let me know how it is working out for you ♥

ah, i like all of these ideas so much! i'm going to get a little creative adding some since so much has been said already. i love organizing so a lot of these are inspired by that, but that might not work for you! you might need to be messy! that's ok too! anyway here goes...

    - counting change in ur piggy bank

    - flipping through your old sketchbooks, maybe labeling them with cute washi with the date/contents

-sorting through old pens and markers, testing each one on a page to see if it works and what the color is. it's also fun to set them out in jars!

    - origami, origami stars are fun to make and only take a little practice before you can make them: link i put mine in the bottom of jars that hold my pens LOL or if you make a lot you can use them like packing peanuts for gift wrapping!

    - watching movies and shows special to your childhood

    - online shopping... just pinning things you like on pinterest or adding items to your wishlist on wish is enough for me!

    - picking through your closet to make cute outfits (take pictures as reference for days you don't know what to wear!) and adding no good clothes to a donation bag~

    - make ur bed, but set out all your cute blankets and stuffies~ hug everyone so they know they're loved!

    - match your socks, or mix match to make cute sock couples!

    - get gross cluttery not cute things out of your space (like plastic bags from shopping, clunky shoes, trash, boxes, laundry basket, etc) this is an adult chore but it will make your little self happier and more comfortable.

    - make collages out of random stickers, pictures, postcards, movie tickets, and other paper bits to stick in your journal or binder

    - drink juice  or cocoa!

    - play with your makeup, swatching your hands and face, experimenting and getting rid of gross old products.

    - count... everything... your bracelets, books, stuffies, origami stars ;^) shoes...

A thing that helps me to enter in little space is reading books for children in a foreign language. The difficultie to read remind me when i was a 6 year old learning to read 💚
Listening to songs i used to hear when i was a Child Also helps me.

Yes! Using my activity chart every day helps me stay little. I infuse most of my adult responsibilities with childlike qualities. For example, I use an oversized checkbook register and glitter gel pens for keeping our finances in order, and I give myself a sticker everytime I balance the checkbook. I keep a little plushie unicorn friend in the car. When washing dishes, I get really mindful and enjoy the bubbles and warm water.
Of course, snuggling with my favorite stuffies with my softest blankie is also a great way to get little!

I have a physical "littlespace"- a corner between furniture and walls where I keep all my little stuff. I got it some pastel rugs and soft pillows and I keep my coloring book and pacifier there. That way I have a space where I don't need to be adult at all.

It would be nice to have a discreet little-feeling object I can carry around with me, buy I've yet to find something that fits the requirements.

Looking back on it, I used to have this keychain that was a frog or something? When you squeezed its head, its eyeballs popped out, then when you let go, they'd go right back in. I now know that I went into Little space right in the middle of the store, squeezing it over and over again while laughing and making funny noises. Maybe something like that would work? I should get another one myself... I found it at Claire's or Icing years ago but I'm sure they're all over now.

Ohmygoodness! Guess what I discovered? If I clean my floors with Method almond scented squirt and mop, my house smells like BABY POWDER!! And, I also found that a dash of baby shampoo into the sink makes washing dishes even more of a littlespace experience. And I made my vitamin organizer little by scrubbing off the printing and putting cute stickers on each little door!

Oh! Another thing: I got a cute little silicone lotion bottle from Claire's that attaches to my purse, that has lollipops and candy on it. I dumped out the lotion, (it was yucky anyway),and refilled it with hand sanitizer! It's cute and useful and adds a dash of littleness and fun! I had to take my plush unicorn squishy keychain off, because I dont want him getting all dirty right now.

I know you wrote this in May but just in case you are still looking, have you considered a key chain of a little plushie, a "stress" squishie, or something sparkly and/or just adorable? Could be an anime or cartoon character, Ghibli or Disney being the most popular. Things like that go unnoticed by others but can offer a lot of comfort. Plus you can easily have it on you, pretty much all the time

Here are the things that trigger littlespace for me when I'm alone:

    - Cuddling with blankies and stuffies

    - Wearing cute but spoopy makeup (being goth is part of my little side)

    - Watching certain cartoons or anime (including old cartoons on YouTube)

    - Reading certain comics or manga

    - Wearing a dress or pastel colors

    - Sucking my paci

    - Drinking out of a sippy cup (like now)

    - Being naked (because I feel most liberated in this state, which helps me feel little)

    - At the same time, wearing a onesie or little-themed clothes also brings out my inner-babygirl

    - Nap time

    That's all I have for now.  :)

    - Looking at Sanrio, Pusheen, or something else cute.

I always do things that my mom used to do for me when I was younger. For example I like to take my blankets and wash them with something that smells really nice and then stick them in the dryer till they are really warm. Then I wrap myself up in them. I do this all the time! It just makes me feel so comfortable and I wanted to try it out with a weighted blanket!

Another thing I do is go to playgrounds! Haven’t been to one recently due to COVID but when I saw an empty playground; which is pretty common where I live for some reason, I always go play around! Of course when kids are around I tend to just swing but I always enjoy doing that with friends!

I think when I do things I remember doing at a certain time in life my little space just kicks in! I have a few other things but those are just examples! I just love how each little is different and unique yet so common with things that trigger their little space!

Okay so this one's kinda complicated, but it can enrich your big life and your little life at the same time.

Try learning a new language (with duolingo or a teacher etc.)
Once you've gotten the hang of simple introductory vocab and phrases, watch a kids' show made or dubbed in that language!

If you ever want to go faaaar back to a time when you were a little baby and mostly enjoyed cartoons for the colors and movement, but were still very excited about the few words that you knew, this can take you there. I've been watching a lot of Peppa Pig and Spongebob dubbed in Dutch since I started learning a year or so ago. Intuiting the plot from what happens onscreen plus the excitement I feel every time I recognize a word, or better, learn a new one!-- It makes me feel so little. Something clicks and it's like I can actually remember being that young.  :p Learning, in general is a powerful gateway to little-space.
